Courtyard is owned by Julia Jaconelli and opened its doors in 1996. It is situated in Angel Gate, just off Guildford High Street . This is a delightful cobbled courtyard steeped in history. It is where the coaches used to pull up and while their passengers stayed over night in the adjacent Angel Hotel. Angel Gate has been developed over the years and now has several independent boutiques, a coffee shop and a lovely new restaurant called Bill’s. It is a great place to visit in Guildford and still a bit of a secret waiting to be discovered for many. The shop has a loyal following and has built up a huge clientele form all over the world including many celebrities.
