CT Manufacturers Resource Group
www.ctmrg.comBeth Devine created the CT Manufacturers’ Resource Group (CTmrg) in response to a need in the manufacturing community. Small- and medium-sized manufacturers often lack the expertise and/or manpower to take advantage of programs available to them, vet the experts for services and products they need, and access qualified workers to grow their company. To resolve this challenge, CTmrg provides Critical Updates – a monthly publication of essential information. Beth has been helping manufacturers with their marketing and business development needs for more than 25 years. In that time, she has witnessed too many manufacturers be taken advantage of, whether it was the $10,000, eight page information website that was built in proprietary software or the consultant that charged a fortune for information that didn’t provide true value. This was her initial incentive for creating the CT Manufacturers Resource Group. As she continued down the path to provide manufacturers with vetted resources, she found they struggled with two other issues - access to programs/funding and workforce development. By partnering with Workforce Boards and Educational Institutions, navigating programs provided through both the state and the federal government, and vetting the best resources available, Beth has been able to (and continues to) assemble one source for information that’s critical to helping manufacturers grow their businesses.
