In 2010 the Broadband Computer Company Limited introduced an entirely new computing product to market. The product, or fully-supported service, was the Broadband Computer™. This new category of device, available via subscription, combined a fully integrated suite of proprietary software applications with a Linux based operating system running on a standard PC. Specifically designed for ease of use, it is was described by the Financial Times Magazine as "real genius at work". The company is now focusing development efforts on software that extends its ease of use methodology into the market for secure personal internet communications. In personal and business communications it is becoming more and more necessary to add additional security to email and web communications in order to preserve the confidentiality of user data, particularly in the light of new European data privacy legislation. The company is addressing these needs with its new COAST product.
