The Criminal Division of the Law Office is comprised of prosecuting attorneys who represent the Gila River Indian Community in criminal prosecutions and civil code enforcement matters in the Community’s courts. Prosecutors from the Law Office enforce the Community’s Law and Order Code, including the criminal code, traffic code, children’s code, mental health code and civil trespass code. The prosecutors file criminal and civil complaints ranging from minor offenses to violent crimes.
