U&I Spread The Light (Formerly Achieve) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit work training center and employment placement organization for adults with intellectual, mental health and/or physical disabilities (clients) living in Dallas and surrounding areas. Serving nearly 970 individuals annually, our Work Center Program and Employment Placement Program provide case management, skills training, and jobs both in our 30,000 square-foot facility on Ambassador Row, and at businesses throughout the Metroplex. U&I is proud to offer invaluable services to adults with disabilities from our community and their caregivers/families. Our clients cherish the opportunity to gain purpose and dignity through employment and take great pride in the work performed, the money they earn and the skill they develop. We are also proud to offer these services to local and national companies: quality high-volume packaging, assembly and production work and employment placement services that connect qualified, pre-screened job seekers with a disability with hiring managers.
