Hyperbaric Healing Institute, Inc. is the largest freestanding outpatient Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy clinic in the Midwest. We treat all non-emergent FDA approved indications requiring Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. This includes problem wound care, complications from radiation therapy, and osteomyelitis. Hyperbaric Healing Institute's 10-person, multi-place chamber is walk-in and wheelchair accessible. Since its inception, Hyperbaric Healing Institute has focused on addressing indications in the areas of neurological, cancer, orthopedic, sports medicine, surgery recovery and trauma. As a freestanding clinic we may treat a variety of other indications which HBOT has been shown to benefit, including:Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, RSD, CRPS, Autism, Sports Injury, and Surgery Recovery. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a method of administering pure oxygen at greater than atmospheric pressure to a patient in order to improve or correct conditions. By providing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber we are able to deliver 10-15 times more oxygen then if delivered at sea level or at normal atmospheric levels. Some of the effects this has are to promote the growth of new blood vessels, decrease swelling and inflammation, deactivate toxins, increase the body’s ability to fight infections, and improve the rate of healing. HBOT should be used to complement conventional therapies and treatments. Our physical therapy center offers innovative therapies, including intensive physical therapy. Our mission is to help children and adults with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders achieve greater independence by providing comprehensive and intensive physical therapy programs. Our unique approach helps accelerate progress in motor skills. Intensive therapy can provide strengthening, flexibility, increased endurance and enhanced functional skills.
