As property owners in a vacation rental market, we quickly realized there were few options when it came to marketing and managing our rental properties. The traditional property management companies lacked marketing initiatives and maintenance plans. Frustrations grew. The only other option was to self manage, which is near impossible when property owners work, raise families and not have housekeeping companies, turnover specialists, contractors, etc. at their fingertips. It can be a full time job! As we started self managing our own properties, we quickly realized how and why traditional property management companies are not a good fit for today’s markets, thus SWAY was founded. SWAY was created on the key components of marketing campaigns, property maintenance plans and communications. When we put these plans and initiatives at the forefront, owners AND guests benefit. Owners saw a much greater return on investments and guests experienced a superior stay. We are vacation hosts. We are proactive in our maintenance plans. We are marketing driven. We are guest experience passionate. We do not set it and forget it. We feel that we are only as good as our last guest experience. We focus on annual rental income versus nightly rental income thus almost tripling owner income in particular properties, while doubling in others. SWAY’s mission is to create and perpetuate an equally rewarding experience for guest and owner, maximizing revenue for owners through an individualized, executed property marketing plan while providing guests with a desired level of expectation and communication.
