The CIO TImes was founded in 2003 under the leadership of Mr. Yao Le, then president of the CIO forum of Peking University. It was also the organization that Peking University Science and Technology Park collected and incubated in Peking University at that time. From 2005 to 2015, the CIO Times has been the only cooperative school running unit of the CIO class of Peking University. CIO Times is mainly engaged in CIO training and various new technology application training. At present, the CIO Times cooperates with the state information center, the statistical information center of the state health and Health Commission, the information center of the State Administration of science, technology and industry for national defense, the information center of the State Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, and the procuratorial Technology Information Research Center of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. There are CIO classes in various industries and training classes for information leading cadres. CIO Times is also the global strategic partner of UNESCO higher education innovation center and the co sponsor of UNESCO "International Network Education Institute".
