Christiana Lodge is an architect designed lodge in the select area of Solar Beach, between Robberg Beach and the Brakkloof Wetland. Robberg Beach is a 5 minute walk away and the distance to town is only 4,5 km. The spacious, fully equipped bedrooms, designed with great attention to detail, are luxurious yet uncluttered with custom made king size beds, crisp white linen, soft furnishings that reflect the best in South African design, internet access and flat screen televisions. Each bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating; a steel, enamel-coated German bath, separate shower toilet. The use of space in the rest of the lodge makes for a variety of “living areas” where guests can kick back: the covered patio adjacent to the lounge, the pool deck, the large, elevated open verandah on the western side or the patio on the northern face - all ideal for a breather after the beach. To make the most of the spectacular sunsets and intense golden afternoon light that bathes Plettenberg Bay, the Lodge is west facing. The overall effect is of nature - lots of light, sun, warmth and open air, with interior colours and effects that blend into the environment.
