TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California over 30 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives, including TEDx. TEDx is a pro­gram of local, independently organised events that bring peo­ple together to share a TED-like experience. TEDx­Hobart aims to bring together the best and brightest Tasmanians across every sector to witness incredible presentations and create lasting networks through their own innovative ideas.
