www.depts.ttu.eduThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering educates, conducts research, and disseminates knowledge through nationally recognized programs in electrical engineering and computer engineering for the benefit of society. We offer accredited bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at the undergraduate level and Masters of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering at the graduate level. The department is very fortunate to have a total endowment of more than 3 million dollars for student scholarships. A variety of very active student organizations are hosted in the ECE department. These include an IEEE (Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers) student branch, The IEEE honor society HKN, the Engineering Honor Society TBP, ARSAT (Amateur Radio Society at Tech), and WIE (Association for Women in Engineering). Aiding the student's transition to the professional work environment are well established Co-Op and internship programs at the departmental as well as the college level. Attending the bi-annual Engineering Career Fair organized by the Engineering Opportunities Center is part of our freshmen level "Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering" course.
