BNN is a landmark institution built by and for the community. Our members, partners, supporters, guests, and our channels' programming represent the diversity of our city. CHARLES J.BEARD II MEDIA CENTER The Boston Neighborhood Network has called Charles J. Beard II Media Center home since 2007. A former MBTA Power Station, the facility was renovated and repurposed from powering trains to empowering people. The center is a LEED-certified U.S. Green Building operating with minimal environmental impact, which contributes to the health and sustainability of our city. It houses two-television production studios, a radio studio, a Timothy Smith Network media lab, a mobile production truck that covers community events as well as a conference room with full audio/visual capabilities and several meeting spaces. Boston Neighborhood Network is a community gem providing access to 21st-century communications, skills, and resources for the Boston community.
