It all started when two roommates from opposite ends of North Carolina, came together late one night. Their goal was to create the perfect barbeque sauce. Creators Adam Compton and Cody Williams wanted to find the perfect balance between the sweetness of the tomato based Western N.C. style sauce, and the tanginess of the vinegar based Eastern N.C. style sauce. After many attempts, one recipe emerged above the rest. It was then that ACW Original BBQ Sauce was born! Not soon after, they met a friend Jay Overcash and the three made the perfect business partners, each bringing their own expertise After using the sauce at barbeques across the state, one thing was clear; everyone loved it. When people began requesting to purchase the sauce, Adam, Jay and Cody decided to start selling their delicious and unique sauce.
