With 18 years of experience working with students in all grades, Katrina is an expert academic coach and tutor who can help your child succeed. Her work with students enables them to move through fear and resistance to feel more confident and comfortable with school. Her particular focus is on students with learning differences, especially dyslexia and other reading issues, processing disorders, ADHD, writing delays, and executive function gaps. She helps any student with a learning challenge build up their strengths and manage their struggles so they can be successful with school. She has been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and is working toward her associate level certification. Instruction is tailored to each student and is one-to-one. Katrina meets with students at their school or home, at a local library or coffee shop, or online utilizing various platforms. Her work with students also incorporates mindfulness and meditation.
