NextGen Succession Partners is managed by Danny Fields and Steve Reis. They are seeking to help one small business owner find a path to retirement by purchasing and operating a single business in the United States and growing that business over the long term. Steve and Danny met in 2015 in Houston, Texas while attending Rice University’s MBA program. They quickly learned that they not only shared a similar background, but they shared the same drive for entrepreneurship. Both attended the only two public military colleges in the United States – Danny graduated from the Virginia Military Institute and Steve from The Citadel. Steve was a Paratrooper and served for 4 years as an Infantry Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. Danny was a Green Beret and served for 9 years as a Special Forces Officer in the 7th Special Forces Group. After their military service, Steve held roles in Operations Management and Acquisition Integration at EnerMech - an oilfield services firm. Danny worked at GE Oil & Gas in Commercial Sales and Marketing roles. Combined, they have 7 years of operational corporate experience. With strong operations backgrounds, unique military experiences, entrepreneurial and Fortune 100 business experience, top-tier business education, and the backing of experienced investors, Steve and Danny are ready to to move quickly on the right deal and expand the legacy of an already-strong business.
