Instead of waiting for a rep to manually qualify the lead, this n8n workflow intercepts the webhook, cleans the email address, and uses Lusha to instantly append company size, job seniority, and industry.

By calculating a priority score on the fly, the system distinguishes between a student researcher and a VP of Sales. High-priority leads are fast-tracked into a dedicated Slack channel for immediate response, while others are logged in HubSpot for standard follow-up.

How to set it up

Install the Lusha community node

Ensure your n8n instance is equipped with the Lusha node to facilitate real-time API calls for every new inbound request.

Connect your apps

Link your active accounts in n8n for:

  • Lusha: API access for instant lead enrichment
  • HubSpot: To create or update contacts and track demo intent
  • Slack: To route notifications to your sales channels

Point your webhook to n8n

Copy the n8n webhook URL and paste it into your chatbot (i.e. Intercom, Drift) or your demo request form (i.e. Typeform, Webflow) as the “Submit” destination.

Customize priority scoring

Adjust the Code node to define your “High-Priority” threshold.

  • Tip: Set the logic to trigger a “High Priority” alert if the Lusha-enriched seniority is “Director+” and the company size is “>200 employees.”

Map your Slack channels

Assign the output nodes to your specific Slack channels.

  • Hot leads: Map to #urgent-demos.
  • Standard leads: Map to #demo-requests.

Activate and test

Submit a test demo request. Confirm that HubSpot is updated with the Lusha-verified phone number and that the Slack alert contains the specific “Request Type” from the chatbot.

What to do next

  • Instant booking: If a lead is “High Priority,” use the chatbot to show a Calendly link immediately based on the Lusha-verified data.
  • SDR paging: Use Slack “@mentions” in the #urgent-demos channel to alert the specific rep assigned to that territory.
  • Enrich the message: Pass the chatbot conversation history into the HubSpot contact notes alongside the Lusha data for full context.
