Atlas: DIY

www.atlasdiy.org

Atlas: DIY is a cooperative empowerment center for immigrant youth and their allies. We are a 501 (c)(3) organization based in Brooklyn that offers free legal aid, mental health workshops, leadership training and life skills for the most vulnerable of NY’s youth populations: immigrants. Our Beliefs and Values Founded and launched in 2011, Atlas: DIY is a relatively new non-profit, but we've made national headlines because of our unique approaches to non-profiteering. We strongly believe in the principles of cooperation and self-empowerment. As such, we offer free wrap-around legal services, as well as leadership workshops, career and college help, and language classes. We are committed to providing immigrants the resources they need to thrive. How You Can Get Involved If You're a Non-Profit Group We are always looking to partner with area groups to provide more holistic aid to the youth we serve. There are a variety of ways we may be able to work together. Email us at info@atlasdiy.org. If You Want To Donate Some Time Atlas works as a cooperative. That means many of our workshops are donated to us by people who want to share the skills they have with our youth. If you have a skill you'd like to share, or would like to get involved in a current project, please email us at info@atlasdiy.org. Donors Atlas mostly on private donations. You can donate to Atlas by clicking the "donate" button on our website or by contacting info@atlasdiy.org.
