Tamarack Construction Company Inc (TCCI) is located in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. We have won many awards for energy efficiency & design, recently named 2008-09 Builder of the Year by Northwest Energy STAR. I guess you could say we were "green" before "green" was cool! By focusing our construction goals on producing highly energy efficient buildings we have become known as "knowledgeable about energy efficiency in the construction industry." When the NW Energy Star program started in Montana we acted as consultant to the organizers. Owner Paul Wilson's career started in the 70’s allowing for an extensive background in many phases and fields of the construction industry. After moving to Montana in 1990, his experience in project management enabled him to successfully grow TCCI to a level that brought him into the land development field. He has been investing in and developing land in Idaho and Montana since 2001. Paul is past president of Bitterroot Building BIA, member of the Bitterroot BIA and the Missoula BIA and has been active on a state level in the Montana BIA. Paul was recognized as Builder of the Year by the Bitterroot BIA in 2007. His community activities have involved acting as Volunteer Coordinator for the Bitterroot Winter Special Olympics and serving as VP of Ravalli County Search & Rescue. I am fortunate to have met Paul Wilson when I served as Executive Officer of the Bitterroot BIA. When the opportunity presented itself to become Office Manager at TCCI, I jumped at the chance to work with this dynamic team of environmentally aware builders.
