The Calgary Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association (CCA) is the local face, and spirit of a strong and supportive national organization. The Calgary Chapter was incorporated in 1980 by a dedicated group of volunteers who recognized the need for local face-to-face support of people with Celiac Disease in our community. During our 30 years of service we have grown to over 1000 active members and provide hands-on programs and services to all people in Calgary and area who are affected by or have Celiac Disease. The CCA is a national organization dedicated to providing services and support to persons with Celiac Disease and Dermatitis Herpetiformis through the programs of awarness, advocacy, education and research. The Calgary Chapter is recognized in the CCA for the leadership, commitment and depth of programming that is vital to persons with Celiac Disease. We believe in our role to improve the lives of people in and around Calgary. The Canadian Celiac Association is a national organization dedicated to providing service and support to persons with Celiac Disease and Dermatitis Herpetiformis through programs of awareness, advocacy, education and research.
