The Australian Centre for NanoMedicine commenced at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2011. Our unique research centre incorporates researchers from UNSW’s faculties of Engineering, Medicine and Science. The Centre's mission remains to provide solutions to clinical challenges in medicine through world leading interdisciplinary researchers in diagnostics and therapeutic delivery. Team ACN continues to work on diseases including neuroblastoma, lung, blood and pancreatic cancers, while diabetes, asthma and uveitis are part of our non-cancer portfolio. Our skills in drug delivery, imaging agents and diagnostic devices are producing world leading outcomes reflected in our strong publication record. ACN has established the International NanoMedicine Conference series, which will be in its 8th year in 2017. This event is regarded as the most significant nanomedicine meeting in the Southern Hemisphere, taking place annually at our local beach, Coogee Beach Sydney, early July.
