We launched International Student Center in 2014 to solve a major challenge faced by international students: applying to college in the United States. There are more resources than ever for students in the U.S to get into college but it still a complex and miserable experience for international students. International students need a partner, who understands their unique challenges faced in application to U.S colleges. As international students themselves, our founders, Selamawit Nicolai and Calvin Mwesigwa, experienced this challenge first hand. They believed international students deserved an easier, more transparent way to apply to U.S colleges and find the right schools, scholarships and financing. It’s why we provide centralized, unbiased, educational content. We help and guide students throughout the application process matching them to top schools with targeted diversity efforts, financial scholarships and excellent fields of study. Our mentors walk students through every step of application, making the process a breeze We know we’ll have a meaningful impact on the lives of thousands of international students and their families by helping them achieve their dream of an education in the U.S.
