Grandma's Hands is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded by Stacy Vogt in honor of her grandma, Darlene Martens, who treated every one like family. Darlene believed in the true Hawaiian word Ohana. Whether the people that she was with were blood or not it didn't matter they were all part of her big family. To build those family relationships she believed spending time together was the best way and her door was always open. This foundation is build to honor her legacy of creating and providing ways for family's to bond. Darlene made a career out of making crafts so what better way to honor her than provide projects to Foster families as a way to build that connection. Stacy can recall the many projects her grandmother created during the family campout each year. It didn't matter what age or what else was going on. Everyone joined together to make the project set forth in front of them. They might not have always turned out perfect but all that mattered is that everyone was working on it together and building those memories.
