Through one-on-one mentorship and workshops, bespoken encourages fellows to explore new avenues and realize their full potential. Our program teaches practical tools, oversees career development, and creates a strong community of female leaders from a shared love of music. WHAT WE DO We foster a community that inspires and empowers women to develop new skills, set goals, and elevate their voices. The relationships we build tear down stereotypes, supporting a community of women musicians who will bespoken about their careers. HOW IT WORKS We put artistic visions into action through our one-on-one mentoring and group workshops — structured yet personalized — designed to provide skill training, career oversight, and strategies for building a career as a music professional. bespoken fellows must be able to make a commitment to bi-monthly mentoring sessions (2 hours each) and workshops for a minimum of six months. There is no fee to apply. WHY WE DO IT Women continue to make up a minority in the classical, contemporary, and jazz industry and because of that our program focuses on women in music. bespoken provides aspiring female musicians with the tools and leadership skills necessary to create rewarding careers, develop their creative and artistic visions, and is there to provide support to navigate challenges they may face in the industry.
