SONEAN was established in 2013 to assist corporate decision makers in gaining unique and dynamic insights into the ecosystems in which they operate and provide them the technology to make better informed decisions and regain control. From 2013 – 2015 we developed our capabilities, and started testing our Ecosystem Intelligence in 2015 with a prominent NYSE listed global company. In 2019, after having invested roughly 3 mn EUR, we decided to open up our intelligence solution to new clients as it has reached a very sophisticated and mature level. A network science based model of the industry in which the clients operate represents the basis for our intelligence gathering across 150+ countries. Highly structured and tagged data related to all relevant developments among customers, competitors, and other relevant institutions which are central to the global network allow our clients unparalleled visualization and analytical capabilities, with all data being translated into a single target language eliminating all barriers. Using machine learning, translation, and among others network model based machine search processes, to empower our analysts, we reduce search costs for clients from weeks to literally seconds/minutes and allow them to ask the system all kinds of questions related to their customers, competitors, and other relevant organizations (such as universities, governments etc.), and analyze data visually, geographically, and over time providing a 360 degree dynamic perspective. The customer no longer has to deal with hundreds of standards and to buy research in each country separately but can rely on a single platform for the global market to complement their existing insights, and make better informed tactical and strategic decision based on actionable intelligence.
