The Community Foundation for Staffordshire is a fund and philanthropic management organisation, managing over £7m per annum. We help businesses large and small, individuals, trusts, solicitors, wealth advisors and their clients to give something back to their local community, or chosen cause, in a way that maximises their impact but minimises their costs and workload. Every year we make a difference to the lives of thousands of people across the county who may be suffering disadvantage. As a broad based charity we can respond to changing needs and don't actively promote one cause above others. Instead we work with our donors, partners and supporters to help them achieve the change that they want to. Our core work centres around; ~ Delivering grants on behalf of Government, local authorities, national, regional and local funders and local philanthropists. ~ Building endowments – designed to ensure that there is a long term sustainable source of funding for the county’s many needy charities and community groups. ~ Multi agency partnerships, helping to represent civil society, where there is a clear benefit to the communities within Staffordshire. ~ Helping businesses and local philanthropists, along with others who care about their community, to cost effectively give back by helping to meet their Corporate Social Responsibility aims.
