The Observatory of Refugee Camps is a non-profit organization that acts to inform refugees camps around the world. The Observatory of Refugee Camps aims to bring together members from different backgrounds and disciplines who have a particular interest or professional activity related to the issue of refugee camps and issues related to migration flows, to better understand the causes and consequences of resorting to the camps. The idea of a Observatory of Refugee Camps emerged as a result of a finding that is well that the general problem of refugees is widely relayed and known by all, few tools have been put in place actually making information about the living conditions of people living in refugee camps. The Observatory of Refugee Camps focuses on a study restricted to "official", "formal" and "durable" refugee camps.
