Founded in 1991 by Viveka Sri Rajaretinam Armugam , Majlis Belia India Malaysia or Malaysian Indian Youth Council (MIYC) is one of the largest Indian youth based national organization in Malaysia. In the last 30 years, MIYC has established its presence in 12 States with an approximate of 100 branches and close to 5,000 members throughout the nation. Driven by a team of passionate young leaders, MIYC aims to create awareness and empower Malaysian Indian youths to improve their socio-economic status and guiding them towards creating a path for themselves. Headquarted in Batu Caves, Selangor, MIYC is also one of the members of the Joint Council of the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
