UBC Theatre and Film is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nation. UBC Theatre and Film offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in BFA/MFA Acting (no MFA), Film Production, Theatre Design & Production: BFA/MFA Film Production; MFA Directing; BA/MA/PhD Theatre Studies; Film Studies (BA) & Cinema and Media Studies (MA/PhD). Located on the beautiful Point Grey campus of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada, our alumni in all programs have succeeded to tell their stories with skill, artistry, and academic rigour while maintaining a strong UBC networking link. We have a full theatre season, the Persistence of Vision Film Festival (POV), conferences, co-productions with exciting UBC and local partners, and networking events.
