HSE is a professional corporation that was founded in 1982 as a specialized structural engineering firm. The current principal partners are Jay R. Saylor, P.E., David T. Finkbeiner, P.E. and Jeffrey W. Hurd. From our headquarters in Victor, New York, we serve all areas of the United States. The current staff consists of nine engineers and technical support personnel, including five Licensed Professional Engineers. We have extensive structural design experience with a variety of building projects. The building structures have ranged from small one-story additions to multi-story buildings including educational, residential, commercial, municipal, industrial and parking garage structures. We have extensive experience working with different design and administrative teams including various owners, developers, architects, Civil/Site/MEP engineers and construction managers. The success of any project depends on the ability of the team to respond to changes in the design process. At HSE, we understand the need for timely responses and the ability to adjust schedules. We employ the latest technologies to make the design process run as smooth as possible. We have earned a reputation for our attention to detail and responsiveness throughout the design and construction phases of a project. Currently, HSE has over 250 clients on an annual basis. Each year, we provide structural engineering services for projects totaling more than $250 million in construction.
