"Sahim Initiative" is brought up by Human Aid And Development NGO "HAND Organization" working on help the displaced Syrians inside/Outside of Syria; by sending relief shipment that contain Aids, Clothes, Food, Medical items, and Toys Sahem initiative works to meet the needs of Syrians refugees inside Syria and outside it: 1. Meet basic food, clothing, blankets and medical needs 2. Providing educational support for schools and educational centers “Sahim initiative” is one of the first projects implemented by HAND Organization , which has started in 2012 and is still ongoing until present. "Sahim" includes a large group of volunteers from different nationalities, who provided and collected various humanitarian and in-kind Donations. This initiative started from the generous UAE, where more than 750 shipments of in-kind materials have been sent so far, and they were transported to multiple areas inhabited by Syrian refugees. 4,544,905 people have benefited from this initiative. In 2019, HAND inaugurated an exhibition in Lebanon called “Sahim Exhibition” in order to distribute these donations. During this exhibition, there were clothes of various sizes and forms, shelves specific for toys, shoes and more. We also supplied medical requirements, foodstuffs, and stationery for school students, bringing the total of in-kind materials sent to the exhibition to 144,000. 33,159 individuals have benefitted so far.
