We developed an urban bicycle designed with recycled materials: the GC1. It is unique in the market due to the panels that form it. They are made out of recycled kraft paper specially built to withstand great amount of force. The bike is coated with a recycled polystyrene paint making it waterproof. Getting a flat tire with the GC1 is impossible since the tires don’t require air. The wheels are made out of rubber, recycled plastic, and more paper panels, this combination creates the necessary shape of a tire and absorb the vibrations generated by movement, offering the feel of a standard tire.
