Peg Broadcasting owns and operates ten radio stations and two translators in these markets: Crossville, TN; McMinnville, TN and Sparta, TN. Peg prides itself as being the premier marketing vehicle for its clientele thru an extensive advertising campaign featuring radio and digital media. Formats include AC, Adult Hits, Classic County, Country, Gospel, Sports and Talk. Following the founding in 2000, Peg entered into an LMA and later purchased WOWF in Crossville, TN. In 2003, Peg acquired WAEW, WCSV & WXVL in Crossville, TN from Clear Channel Communications. Later that decade (July 1, 2008), WAKI, WBMC, WOWC & WTRZ (McMinnville, TN) and WSMT & WTZX (Sparta, TN) were acquired from Clear Channel Communications.
