Part of Fineurop group, FIO is a professional investor in the Italian bankruptcy space, usally acting as "assuntore" in bankruptcy (or pre-bankruptcy) composition agreement proposals to the competent Court. FIO also acquires unsecured debts whose settlement is uncertain and/or difficult, claimed against insolvency proceedings, either by commercial parties or from financial and banking activities; FIO acquires the unsecured debts through licensed SPV or directly, being provided with the license issued as per article 115 of the Public Safety Act (TULPS).
