Sea Level Counseling and Wellness was founded in Norfolk, VA by Abigail Morgan, LCSW. Named for its city of origin and for the ebb and flow of the surrounding waters,  Sea Level Counseling and Wellness provides balanced, strengths-based mental, medical, and nutritional wellness care for residents of Hampton Roads. Using trauma informed, results-driven therapeutic approaches, Sea Level Counseling and Wellness helps individuals seeking change find balance and feel empowered. Our minds and bodies are one entity, so it is important to view mental health and physical heath care as total self care. Sea Level Counseling and Wellness provides mental and physical wellness services by licensed, board certified providers who specialize in treating the whole person. We offer mental, medical, and nutritional health services under one roof and work collaboratively to provide the best all inclusive care to our clients and patients. We know how busy life can be, and offering all inclusive services in one location can save you time and give you peace of mind. We work with our clients and patients to identify sources of strength and resiliency while creating individualized plans of care to address mental, medical, and nutritional wellness concerns. Our mental wellness specialties include trauma-informed approaches and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and our medical wellness specialties include medication management for physical and mental health conditions and well care visits. Our nutritional wellness specialties include disordered eating and achieving healthy eating habits and food goals. Another aspect of giving back to our community is by offering reduced-rate individual and group mental wellness services. These services are provided by a Resident in Social Work, someone who has completed their Master’s Degree in Social Work and is in clinical supervision for Board licensure.
