Healthwatch Isle of Wight is the new independent champion created to gather and represent the views of the Island's public on health and social care. It has been set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC) and is a social enterprise. Healthwatch plays a role at both national and local level and will make sure that the views of the public and people who use services are taken into account. Healthwatch Isle of Wight gives children, young people and adults a powerful voice locally and nationally. We want to work to help people get the best out of their local health and social care services. Whether it’s improving them today or helping to shape them for tomorrow. Healthwatch is all about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of local services. Not just people who use them, but anyone who might need to in the future.
