Partners for the Advancement of Collaborative Engineering Education is a collaborative corporate effort of GM, Auto Desk, Hewlett-Packard, Oracle and Siemens that links industry with selected academic institutions worldwide with the goal of developing the automotive product lifecycle management (PLM) team of the future. Students work together in all aspects of a product's life — from its design inception, through its manufacture, marketing, distribution and maintenance, and finally its recycling and disposal. Students of the University of São Paulo work in various areas such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Market Research. The group participates in the PACE Global Forum annually, where it receives feedback from industry experts.
