Automotive innovations : Dynamic Brake Indicator At present we only see the brake lights of modern cars flashing when an emergency stop is made. We have developed an independent system that indicates how much the vehicle decelerates under braking. This allows other road users to see whether soft, medium or hard braking is applied. The system can be integrated at the factory as an extension of the third brakelight or as an after-market kit or as an independent unit that can be fixed to the rear of a trailer. The system has been tested on a closed circuit. The system is patent pending.
