SKUTI was founded in Bali on 02.02.2022 as the successor of Skutis Corporation, which is since 2016 Indonesia's first electric kick-scooter ("Skutis") company. Skutis Corporation is an all-around e-scooter business with focus on e-scooter selling, rental, tours, designing, modifying, racing, and consulting. SKUTI, in contrast, is the world's 1st public transportation company that integrates roadworthy GPS-equipped Skutis as personal means of sustainable transportation in Indonesia and beyond. While non-GPS-equipped Skutis can already be found in the Botanical Gardens of Bogor and Bali for guided Skuti tours, the first GPS-equipped Skutis are expected to be launched by the end of 2022 in Badung, Bali. Those GPS-equipped e-scooters will be available for rent through SKUTI's application through dock-less geo-fenced parking spots ("Mobility Stations"). Mobility Stations will be located at busy and popular areas such as malls, beaches, restaurants, shops etc. Skutis are expected to partly replace trips with bigger vehicles such as motorbikes and cars. By that SKUTI will be carbon negative and help reducing: - Traffic jam; - Traffic noise; - Air pollution; - Energy consumption; and - Lack of parking space. SKUTI is making urban transportation more accessible, affordable, reliable, efficient, and fun. In fact, Skutis are around 600% more energy efficient than small combustion engine motorbikes. Due to the light weight of Skutis, they are also about 60% more energy efficient than small electric motorbikes. Therefore, one Skuti is expected to prevent yearly the same amount of CO2 that is usually consumed by 88 grown-up trees. SKUTI is currently open to receive investments. As of January 2022 SKUTI plans to recruit in Bali. As of February 2022, SKUTI is open to make deals with property or business owners that would like to receive a Mobility Station. As of March 2022, SKUTI plans to start accepting franchisees in- and outside of Indonesia.
