Art School Live is a new series of public-facing music performances and events, live-streamed from around the Manchester School of Art. The events are a collaboration between students and the technical team here at the university, aimed at enhancing students' professional practice during their degree. Each show is used to promote a local band or artist, with production duties carried out by the students and on-the-job training/support provided by technical staff. Art School Live aims to supply students with a chance to work in a professional environment through from pre-production to post-production, under the pressure of producing a live-streamed product.
