Progressive Affiliated Lumbermen (PAL) is a member owned co-op located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. PAL is a leader in the Lumber and Building Materials industry. PAL has the distinction of being the oldest LBM co-op in the United States. Established in 1934 and incorporated in 1937, PAL was started by 7 independent lumber dealers with the vision to combine their purchases to increase their buying power. By combining their resources to purchase 9 carloads of Globe Roofing, PAL was formed.
