My English tips, classes and content are geared towards helping Brazilians who plan to live in the United States or already live in the United States. I teach English through American culture using an immersive approach similar to that of the Natural Approach. My course is designed for beginners, but also excellent for those students who already have an intermediate level of English. After two years of teaching only Brazilian students, I understood the material I had to write and film for my course to serve their needs better than the standard English books I had been using in our classes. I not only teach English, but weave in cultural customs and American history into the modules so that my students can thrive here in the United States in the same way that I learned to thrive in Brazil as an exchange student in high school. I created my course, The American Experience, with the goal of producing an immersive experience teaching Brazilians English and American culture in the same way that I had learned Brazilian Portuguese and culture, only in a super cost-efficient way that is accessible to almost anyone, whether they live in Portugal, Brazil, or the United States.
