Author Motive
www.aumo.nlTechnical documentation is what it is all about at Author Motive. Writing and processing technical content like instructions, descriptive texts and complete manuals are the most important activities. This can be executed in different ways, shapes and forms. Whether it’s a technical brochure or a complete maintenance- /repair manual, Author Motive has a suitable approach. My mission as technical author is to deliver clear and well structured documentation, in any form. Everyone probably knows examples of unclear, verbose, badly translated, confusing and needlessly complicated documentation. By structuring information and actions and by separating essentials and side issues, an unambiguous instruction or manual can be written. History: In the year 2000, I graduated from the PTH Automotive engineering (teacher training, second degree) at the Fontys PTH college in Eindhoven. Since then, I have gained experience in several positions within automotive, mechanical engineering and high tech. See my LinkedIn profile for more information. After a period of over 10 years in which I was responsible for writing technical documentation and guiding publication processes, I decided to become self employed. Under the name of Author Motive, I now take care of and provide technical documentation and related services and activities. Experience: Over the past years, I did not only gained experience as a technical author but also as teacher/trainer, mechanic and trouble shooter; mostly during and shortly after my study. Due to the combination of my love for technology, mechanic skills, broad technical knowledge and pedagogical / technical education, I am able to translate pure technical information into practical usable manuals.
