Pura Vida Café
www.puravidacafe.netPura Vida Café: the organic coffee roaster company Pura Vida Café is an organic coffee roaster based in Northern Italy. Since its founding in 2003, it has specialized in roasting high quality beans to offer a more refined blend of coffee to enthusiasts throughout the Italian peninsula. In 2010 we obtained organic certification. Our pursuit of quality is achieved through the careful selection of beans and a rigorous roasting quality control. We take pride in knowing that Pura Vida Café has helped numerous Italian outlets raise the taste profile of the coffee they serve. Our clients have gone on to win awards such as the prestigious “three coffee beans" by Gambero Rosso, perhaps the most important Italian culinary guide for restaurants, bars and coffee houses. In recent years, Pura Vida Café has secured arrangements directly with local organic coffee producers, encouraging the pursuit of high standards and eco-friendly production and growing processes. Our most important agreement to date is the Orang Utan coffee project in Sumatra. We are also working to reintroduce coffee from Haiti into Europe, which has become increasingly hard to find given the difficult situation in that country.
