Our mission is to integrate immigrant women and non-binary people in Sweden into the tech world, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. We started Beela because we understand the challenges of starting over in a new country with a lack of opportunities and support networks. At Beela, our hearts beat to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech scene. We’re committed to building a community of empowered immigrant women and non-binary people who thrive in their careers and lead the way in tech. How? Our Beehive has 3 pillars: ⚡️ Empower: By helping immigrant women & non-binary people realize their potential and providing services like career coaching, mentoring, and networking. 🗣 Inform: By spreading the word about what's happening in the tech world — advertising boot-camps, code academies, university courses, and events for people in a career transition to tech. 💡 Inspire: By sharing stories of immigrant women and non-binary people who started from scratch and built a career in tech, and of employers who embraced the mission and created opportunities.
