Emergency services at one platform to fight Covid-19 crisis in India. Find information on what to do, where to go and who to call at CovidFYI.in Covid-related help is released by the government at all levels - national, state and district. However, this information is scattered at multiple websites and not standardised. Most of it is released as images, pdf circulars. It is not easy to understand by the common man as they contain technical terms in circulars. For eg., there are 1000+ helplines in India. This help is not reaching the people who need it the most due to information overload. There is no one-stop solution to access hyper-local information that is relevant to a user’s emergency needs. CovidFYI is channelising all COVID related essential information to a single user-friendly platform, that delivers verified information from official sources (through website, chatbot, SMS, call). Our aim is to solve the problem of awareness, access and to standardize the information; to promote telemedicine, contact-less healthcare, social distancing, prevention of chaos, misinformation, panic and enabling adequate crisis response management for a citizen. Users can find various categories of information provided by the govt., for their city or state ranging from mental health, women related, migrant labour, senior-citizen, medicine delivery, labs, hospitals, fever clinics, ambulance, telemedicine, dial a doctor, control room, e-pass, volunteer and much more, all at one place. Within each segment, (eg. senior citizen services) focussed help is provided to obtain desired behaviour changes through do’s & dont’s, chat forums (of govt.), videos, tutorials etc. To increase the reach and access, this service would also be provided through SMS, Call, Chat (Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook)
