The LSESU Automotive Society is London’s largest organisation of its kind and we strive to give students insights into the amazing world of the Automobiles and its accompanying career opportunities. Our focus is on the world of auto and motorsports. Since our debut in 2017, we have hosted numerous senior professionals from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Alex Smith and Dr. Susanne Leifheit from VW and Daniel Betham from Ubitricity. We aim to give students first-hand insights into this fascinating industry with an outlook towards future trends in automotive technologies, financing, marketing, and manufacturing. Europe is home to the most famous automakers and motorsport teams, and it is our goal to develop our understandings upon such a platform as much as possible. What also differentiates us is our partnership with KPMG. As part of the Automobile Research Group, you will have the opportunity to gain a hands-on experience of what it is like to carry out in-depth industry research – what better than combining your interests and skillset at such a level? This is our third year running the program and with our support, you will no doubt instantly stand out from the crowd! Despite the difficult situations presented by COVID-19, we are working tirelessly to take advantage of the opportunity that working virtually presents. Although physical events will be relatively limited this year, we aim to further expand our outreach to give members the best experience possible while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
