Community led organisation, managing 130 acres of green and blue open spaces, as part of a Community Asset Land Transfer, with Big Lottery funding, along with support from 40+ local organisations, turning a financial liability into an asset. Developing a new children's play park, picnic area and kiosk, outward bounds centre, mountain bike trail, BMX pump track, skate park improvements, trim trail, canoe access points, walking and cycling trails, along with associated enterprise opportunities. Also includes growing spaces, allotments, biodiversity zones, pollinators, tree planting, protecting animal habitats, along with creating nature and heritage trails.
