Welcome to our LinkedIn page of the Department of Finance and Decision Sciences at Hong Kong Baptist University. Our Department offers Finance Major/Concentration, Information Systems Management Major and Information Systems and e-Business Management and Information Systems and Business Intelligence Concentrations of the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Degree Programme offered by the School of Business. Besides undergraduate courses, our Department is also involved in teaching courses for Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Business Administration Programmes. Jointly with the Department of Accountancy and Law, our Department offers the Master of Applied Accounting and Finance Programme, a unique local master programme that integrates applied knowledge and skills in both accounting and finance disciplines. Besides taught degree programmes, our Department also admits research postgraduate students at both MPhil and PhD levels. Research strengths in the Department include corporate finance, corporate governance, financial derivatives, investment strategies, electronic commerce, social media, fintech, cybersecurity, IT auditing, and big data and business intelligence.
