A free, family-friendly event to raise the profile of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) to school-age children. 2019 will be the fourth year of the Peterborough STEM Festival. Launched in 2016, we provide both a Schools Challenge Day for local Primary Schools (https://www.peterboroughstemfestival.co.uk/schools-challenge-day-at-peterborough-stem-festival/), and then the Peterborough STEM Festival day ( https://www.peterboroughstemfestival.co.uk/) which is open to everyone as long as they are accompanied by a child. Having successfully attracted hundreds of children and families for the first two years, and thousands in 2018, we are on target to encourage and inspire thousands of people from Peterborough and the surrounding area. Since the start, we have worked closely with partner and supporter businesses and organisations from the Peterborough area and across the UK.
