MCB is home to outstanding undergraduate and graduate programs, with roughly 1,500 undergraduate students and 220 PhD students. Our world-class departments include Biochemistry, Cell & Developmental Biology, Microbiology, and Molecular & Integrative Physiology. Researchers in MCB lead groundbreaking advances and are often recognized for their contributions to society, such as election to the National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Inventors.
